The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend
Posted on May 23, 2022The Voyager Alliance office will be closed on Thursday 2nd June & Friday 3rd June 2022 for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend.
Online Banking and the Voyager Alliance App will be available 24/7 over the 4 day bank holiday weekend for members to check balances, request withdrawals or transfer funds between accounts. All membership and loan applications received over the 4 day bank holiday weekend will be processed on Monday morning.
Bank Holiday loans
If you are planning a home or garden project over the Bank Holiday weekend, remember a Retail CU loan could lend a hand.
For a loan decision, and funds if approved, before the 4 day bank holiday weekend, please ensure your completed loan application and all supporting documents are with the Voyager Alliance team be end of day on Monday 30th May.
We will continue to accept and process applications after the 30th May, but cannot guarantee that if approved, funds will be available before the 4 day bank holiday weekend.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend
On 6th February this year Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
To celebrate this unprecedented anniversary, events and initiatives culminate in this 4 day UK bank holiday weekend. Celebrations will include public events and community activities, as well as national moments of reflection on The Queen’s 70 years of service. Over 1,500 Platinum Jubilee beacons will also be lit throughout the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and UK Overseas Territories.
There will be many events and activities celebrating the Jubilee across the UK Commonwealth and beyond with over 60k people having registered to host Big Jubilee Lunches! Other highlights include The Queen’s Birthday Parade, the Platinum Jubilee Pageant and the Platinum Party at the Palace.
