A great week at Blackpool Transport
Posted on Dec 05, 2022We had a great week at Blackpool Transport earlier this month. Retail Credit Union, part of Voyager Alliance, is proud to have been working in partnership with Blackpool Transport for 17 years, so we were excited to get back to Blackpool to meet members old and new.
Blackpool Transport has been serving the Blackpool community for over 137 years and we are proud to work in partnership to provide a free employee benefit which helps improve financial wellbeing, especially during the current cost of living and energy crisis.
Over 3 days we visited all 4 of their depots for buses, trams, and office staff – Market Street, Poulton, Starr Gate and Rigby Road. Drivers and conductors arrive ready for shifts from 6am and will return their buses and trams at the end of the day well into the evening!
It was great to meet so many staff across all 4 depots and update them on the improvements since joining forces with Penny Post Credit Union earlier this year. Members are at the heart of everything we do, and we are working hard to provide an easy way to save and borrow straight from pay.

Delyth and Emily had a great week in Blackpool and would like to thank everyone for making them so welcome. They enjoyed a trip on the heritage train tram, which made Delyth think about visits to Blackpool as a child with her grandparents and brought back a lovely warm feeling when looking at the fabulous lights.
